Extended hours of operation at city hall for Chilliwack taxpayers

The Finance Department at city hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday

Extended hours at Chilliwack City Hall started Monday just in time for peak property tax time.

Property taxes are due Tuesday, July 2.

“Save time and claim your Home Owner Grant online, or visit the City’s Finance Department,” according to the notice online. “For your convenience, the Finance Department at City Hall will have extended hours from June 24 until July 2 (except July 1, 2019).”

The Finance Department will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, at City Hall on Young Road, which is an extension of 30 minutes to both the opening and closing times.
