Chilliwack schools closed Friday due to very icy road conditions

Chilliwack School District decided to close schools for students, staff due to freezing rain, ice

Icy conditions due to freezing rain Friday morning (Jan. 7) have closed all Chilliwack schools in the Chilliwack School District.

“Due to very ice road conditions, we have determined that all schools will be closed for students and staff today, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022,” according to the school district announcement online early Friday.

All rentals, community schools, and daycares are also closed.
