The weather stayed clear just long enough for Remembrance Day services in Chilliwack Wednesday.
Hundreds of people crowded onto the streets surrounding the downtown cenotaph to honour those who gave their lives in the nation’s wars.
Many more were also at services at Vedder Crossing and at the Coqualeetza Longhouse,
Under bluster skies and the ever-present threat of rain, Chilliwack residents joined Canadians across the country to pause for a moment of silence.
