A Chilliwack man is lucky to be alive after taking a tumble from a Promontory townhouse balcony Sunday night.
Chilliwack RCMP were called to the 5600 block of Teskey Way at 8:30 p.m.
A 22-year-old man fell from a third-story balcony, dropping 30-40 feet to a driveway below.
He was taken to hospital with injuries that are described as non-life threatening.
An RCMP investigation has ruled out criminal activity, suggesting that drugs and alcohol were factors.
The man remains in hospital.
