Chilliwack man killed in motorcycle crash

Victim riding in a group of six motorcycles Sunday afternoon when he drifted off the highway near Pendleton, Oregon.

The Associated Press is reporting that a 60-year-old Chilliwack man was killed Sunday in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Oregon.

William Clifford Hallsworth was riding in a group of six motorcycles on Highway 37 when he drifted off the edge of the roadway, according to the AP report.

Oregon State Police said in the report that Hallsworth was trying to return to the pavement when he lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle.

He was pronounced dead at a hospital in Pendleton, Oregon.
