Firefighters were on scene at a blaze in a portable shelter in downtown Chilliwack on Thursday afternoon.
The shelter was on fire in the middle of the road at the intersection of Princess Avenue and Edward Street sometime before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10.
Chilliwack Fire Department crews arrived to find the portable structure fully engulfed in flames.
According to one witness, multiple propane tanks exploded.
No one was inside the structure when it was on fire.
