A Chilliwack couple are taking their kids to Disnleyland following a huge lottery win.

Jessica and Jesse Chandler claimed $675,000 on a Set for Life scratch and win ticket that Jessica bought when she stopped for gas at the Circle K at Young Road and First Avenue. She scratched it off when she got home.

“I was at the kitchen table and couldn’t believe it was real,” she recalled.

She double checked the ticket using the B.C. Lottery app and immediately texted and called Jesse, and then her mom.

“Breathtaking — a miracle,” she said.

In addition to the Disneyland trip, the couple are saving for a home.

“We also never had a honeymoon when we got married, so maybe we will do that and renew our vows sometime down the road,” Jessica said.

So far in 2023, B.C. lottery players have redeemed more than $4 million in Set for Life prizes.
