Chilliwack firefighters attended to a blaze in a trailer on the Shxwha:y Village reserve off Wolfe Road Monday afternoon.
Initial reports of a visible fire in one of three trailers in a homeless encampment were downplayed as crews arrived to white smoke coming from the trailer.
Crews were still one the scene at 4 p.m. on Monday dealing with the fire.
