Attack annihilating opponents in U-16 circuit

Chilliwack's U-16 Attack soccer girls are 9-0-1 after their latest win, a 2-1 triumph over West Coast Auto Group (Maple Ridge).

The Chilliwack Attack are steamrolling competition in the U-16 BC Coastal Girls Soccer League, winning eight of their first nine games.

The latest victory came Sunday, with Chilliwack edging West Coast Auto Group (Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge) 2-1 to improve to 9-0-1.

Jasmine Fast and Afton Servatius had the goals as Chilliwack overcame an early one-goal deficit. With the win, plus a loss by Coastal FC, the Attack have opened up a six-point lead atop the BCCGSL standings.

Chilliwack beat Coastal FC 4-2 one week earlier, with two goals from Amber Charlie and singles from Kyra Mueller and Christy Olsen.

Overall, the Attack have scored 34 goals and surrendered just seven.

Their next three games are all at home (Exhibition Stadium), providing the perfect opportunity to wrap up first place.
