School will be back in session Monday after a week of closures due to flooding, Chilliwack School District announced Sunday (Nov. 21).
“All schools open for staff and students Monday, Nov. 22, 2021,” the district website announcement read Sunday.
Bussing across Chilliwack schools will be near normal, said superintendent Rohan Arul-pragasam. Parents and caregivers are reminded to check the Ride 360 app and the Chilliwack School District website for up-to-date bussing information.
“As we look forward to school this week, let’s continue to support each other and the recently announced provincial measures to ensure we do everything we can to conserve our fuel supplies and carpool when required to travel,” he said.
Arul-pragasam thanked parents and caregivers for their patience and understanding during the closure of Chilliwack schools this past week, and also thanked volunteers.
“Thank you to all the volunteers from our community that stepped up this past week to support families in need – we are grateful!”
