Chilliwack RCMP are now looking for witnesses to the assault, or anyone who may have other information about the incident.

“The serious crime unit now has conduct of the investigation, and are looking for anyone who may have been in the area of Empress Lane and Nowell Street during the hours of 7-9 p.m. Saturday evening, who may have witnessed the assault or an altercation,” Cpl.
