The Abbotsford Flea Market is back in business this Sunday.

The popular local market, which is normally open 47 Sundays a year, has not run since March 8 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Sunday’s reopening is an outdoor only event, and feature a smaller amount of vendors. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 32470 Haida Drive at Exhibition Park.

It’s expected that the market will remain outdoors for the next few weeks, with the possibility of it moving indoors in the near future.

Ordinarily the market features 75 vendors outside, but it’s not clear if that number will be more or less on Sunday.

The Abbotsford Flea Market has been a community staple since 1974 and regularly draws hundreds of vendors and thousands of attendees every Sunday.
