Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Chilliwack Lake Road on Saturday.
The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. on May 20 near Tamihi Forest Liumchen Service Road which is by the bridge that crosses Chilliwack River.
Chilliwack Fire Department and Chilliwack River Valley Fire Department were called to the scene and crews reported one person was in critical condition. Other people were in serious condition.
Some people were trapped and at 12:23 p.m., it was reported all patients were out of the vehicles.
A landing zone was being set up at Thompson Regional Park for an Air Ambulance. Around 12:50 p.m. the helicopter landed and by 1:40 p.m. it had left the scene.
Chilliwack Lake Road was closed to traffic as a result.
