Commuting over Mount Woodside will be even slower than usual this week.

Construction on Highway 7 will now see single-lane alternating traffic 24-hours a day on the east side of the mountain, as crews work to resurface the roadway between the Hammersley Pump and the Harrison River Bridge.

This 24-hour change will only be until June 15, after which construction will go back to its normal schedule. The project is expected to be finished at the end of June.
