Over the past decade, The Best of the Fest Tour – VIMFF has become a cornerstone event for Chilliwack’s outdoor community. Whether it's heart-stopping rock climbing, breathtaking mountaineering or powerful stories of exploration, the VIMFF lineup promises to captivate and exhilarate. With a chance to win one of many incredible door prizes, this evening celebrates mountain culture like no other.

On April 6, discover your next literary love with The Art of Reading: High Tea with a Book! Let curiosity guide you as you select a book wrapped in paper, with only a few intriguing clues to hint at its content, and then enjoy an indulgent afternoon of reading in a cosy, high tea setting.

With soft lighting, china, delectable desserts and finger sandwiches, and the soothing aroma of freshly brewed tea, you have an afternoon that will have you falling in love with a story you never saw coming.

Through dramatic dance and intricate masks and regalia, Spirit and Tradition Dancers of Damelahamid convey the important cultural teachings on balance, interconnectedness and community.

On April 18, Spirit and Tradition layers Coastal masked dancers, projected imagery, soundscape, and LED puppetry, to share Indigenous knowledge and artistic practices of the Northwest Coast. This performance will immerse you into the rich and diverse ecosystem of the coastal mountains and oceans.

The Chilliwack Players Guild returns April 24 to May 4 with Roald Dahl’s Matilda, the beloved story of an extraordinary young girl who dares to stand up for what’s right.

This dazzling performance brings Dahl’s timeless tale to life with unforgettable songs, energetic choreography and a heartwarming message of courage and empowerment. Matilda, unloved by her cruel parents and struggling against her school’s mean headmistress, uses her courage, astonishing wit, cleverness and psychokinetic powers to find a happy ending for herself.
