Class A Heating and Air Conditioning is celebraing 20 yeas serving the Chilliwack community.

October was a big month for Class A Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd. Founded in 2004 by Brent Devlin, the business has now been serving the Chilliwack community for 20 years.

“We strive to provide our customers comfort in their homes,” says Devlin. “Feeling comfortable in your home isn’t just about being warm or cold. It’s about reliability, how your system sounds, and feeling safe and secure in your home.”

The team at Class A is experienced at retrofitting homes with the newest heating and cooling technology. When they install a product, they do so knowing they’ll be there to support ongoing maintenance as required. When they take out someone’s tired, old equipment, they ensure it’s replaced with equipment that will work far into the future.

The team is also well-versed in helping connect customers with various grants available to upgrade and replace equipment. They always prioritize systems that serve their customers’ comfort and financial well-being.

“There are some amazing grants available,” Devlin notes. “Homeowners can receive up to $16,000 toward a heating system, plus an additional $5,000 for an electric service upgrade. In many cases, these grants can cover the cost of the unit and installation.

“FortisBC also announced a $10,000 rebate on July 1 for upgrading a gas furnace that’s more than 10 years old to a new furnace and heat pump system. This makes the cost of installing a new furnace and heat pump similar to adding an air conditioner to your existing system. Fortis also offers an income-qualified program with a $15,000 grant.”

To qualify for grants, installations must be done by an approved installer. “Class A has demonstrated the reliability, quality and training required to offer grant-eligible installations,” Devlin adds.

Located in Chilliwack, Class A Heating provides local service, unlike many other installation companies that may not have local technicians, which can mean long waits for maintenance or emergency calls.
