With an incredibly diverse selection of classes and open studios, the Chilliwack Cultural Centre has become a popular place for aspiring artists to explore their creativity!

The centre is continuing its tradition of showcasing the extraordinary pieces that the artists here are producing in the Art from the Heart sale from May 2 to 4. Not only will these fantastic pieces be on display, but they'll also be available for sale to the public, creating an incredible exhibit and place to find stunning pieces to decorate your home.

The student art sale is the perfect place to find those unique pieces for yourself. Every item for sale is a one-of-a-kind piece, and you'll also be supporting local artists. Each item is handcrafted and shows the wondrous results of the many classes happening at the centre.

On May 4, you can celebrate the music from the Star Wars universe with the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra’s May the 4th Be With You!

With music from the original trilogy, sequels and two brand new arrangements of music from Rogue One and Ahsoka, this concert will be the perfect place to share your love for this iconic sci-fi series. Bring your costumes and enjoy the battles with this unforgettable afternoon concert.

Ballet Kelowna returns to the centre on May 10 with the riveting adaption of Shakespeare’s iconic Macbeth. Renowned for pushing the boundaries of contemporary ballet, Ballet Kelowna brings Macbeth to life through a mesmerizing fusion of athleticism, expressive storytelling and striking choreography.

Through a blend of contemporary dance and traditional ballet, Ballet Kelowna re-energizes this classic tragedy, weaving together a performance that will enchant and leave you wanting more.

The Chilliwack School of Performing Arts rings in the spring season with their annual Spring Festival. From May 20 to 24, you can take in a selection of performances that are the culmination of studio-wide hard work from CSOPA’s performers.

From their youngest and newest performers to their more seasoned teens, there are a variety of fun and wacky stories – some of which are even written by these very students.

With nine different shows, there will be something for the whole family to enjoy!
