Chilliwack Chiefs Tucker Shedd and Enzo Lottin have been named BCHL's Stars of the Week.

Two Chilliwack Chiefs were named as BCHL Stars of the Week for their strong efforts in recent games.

Tucker Shedd picked up seven points in three games last week, scoring three goals and adding four helpers in a trio of Chiefs wins, according to the BCHL's write-up.

In Chilliwack’s home date with the Langley Rivermen last Wednesday (Oct. 30), Shedd registered an opening-period assist on his team’s first goal of the game, then scored one of his own in the second to finish with two points in an 8-2 victory.
The Holt, Mich. product continued his hot streak on Friday night in the Chiefs 5-2 home win over the Powell River Kings. Shedd picked up a point in all three periods, chipping in with an assist in the first and second and a goal in the third, to finish with a season-best three points on the night and earn first star honours.

He wrapped up his week with yet another multi-point performance, this time with a goal and a helper on Saturday in Chilliwack’s 6-1 triumph against the Nanaimo Clippers. He was named first star of the game for the second straight night.
Shedd now has multiple points in four straight contests and has climbed into a tie for fifth in scoring among BCHL defencemen with 13 points in 16 games.

The second Star of the Week went to Chiefs forward Enzo Lottin.

Lottin was another key contributor to Chilliwack’s three wins last week, piling up three goals and four assists for seven points over that stretch.

In last Wednesday’s game against the Langley Rivermen, Lottin had his best game in a Chiefs uniform, picking up five points in an 8-2 victory. The 16-year-old rookie had a goal and an assist through the first two periods, then helped Chilliwack pull away in the third with another goal and two assists to give them a six-goal edge. His two-goal, three-assists performance earned him first star of the game.

On Friday, he scored his fourth goal of the season in a 5-2 win against the Powell River Kings, then had an assist on Saturday in his team’s 6-1 victory over the Nanaimo Clippers. Lottin now has 11 points in 16 games on the season and has helped guide the Chiefs to an 11-3-2-0 record this year, good enough for first place in the Coastal Conference.

Next up, the Chiefs play the Surrey Eagles Friday, Nov. 8, and then host them the following night (Saturday, Nov. 9) at the Coliseum.
