There's always more going on at the Coliseum on game nights, from live music to special theme nights.
This season's highlight is likely to be at the Valentine's Day game against the Port Alberni Bulldogs, which will feature an on-ice wedding.
There's plenty more on the calendar this season, too.
The season home opener was Sept. 21, and Steve Elliott 'Elvis' was in the building. Barry Douglas, vice president of the Chiefs, says the rest of the season is packed with great events that fans will want to watch for.
They include the Halloween costume contest, a pyjama night, and the youth hockey night where all youth hockey players wearing their jerseys get in for free.
So many of the Chiefs game nights are focused on helping the community, and this year fans can watch for Operation Red Nose Night, the Fill the Rink for the Salvation Army Food Bank Night, Indigenous Night, and First Responders Night, featuring the Matthew Hutchinson Memorial Awards.
This season will also see a Winter Beach Party in December, a Teacher Appreciation Night, Family Day Game, and a Chicken Industry Night.
There are plenty of promotional nights to pay attention to, and ways to win with the Chiefs, as always.
One season ticket holder is going to win $10,000 worth of prizes courtesy of Stone's Speed Shop, Zone Garage Fraser Valley, Mountain Pacific Mechanical and Certified Sound, and another season ticket holder will win a lawn mower from Makita.
At each game this year, an entire row of fans will win a free car wash from Best Boyz Car Wash.
Fans should also watch for: McDonalds Chuck a puck, Bozzini's dance for your dinner, Hallmark T-shirts out of the Chilliwack Dart & Tackle bazooka gun, Papa John's free pizza give away, a 50-50 with proceeds to Special Olympics Chilliwack, the Tim Hortons coffee cup shuffle and Tim Bits games, the Chilliwack Ford 7th Skater, and Hofstedes Tractor shoot for cash.
And for those on social media, watch the Chiefs accounts for a new feature called The Chatter Box with Jed, where nine-year-old fan and budding journalist Jed gives viewers a little behind-the-scenes action through tours and interviews with the players and staff.
