Chilliwack Chiefs fans have an opportunity to send forward Brady Milburn to the BCHL All-Star Weekend in January.

He would be joining team captain Mateo Mrsic, who was already chosen through the coaches and general managers poll. Each team already has one skater voted into the mid-season classic already, but there are three remaining spots for fans to decide, through an online voting page.

There are a total of 21 players up for the three spots, and voting runs from Nov. 28 to Dec. 4. Fans can only vote once per day, by visiting bchl.ca/FanVote.

Once the voting is complete, the players will be split into four teams of six skaters and one goalie and will compete in a 3-on-3 tournament, as well as a skills competition on Saturday, Jan. 18 in Salmon Arm.

It's not the only excitement happening in the coming week for the Chiefs, who are currently sitting at first place in the Coastal Conference. They are on Vancouver Island for a pair of games this weekend, taking on the Victoria Grizzles on Friday, and the Alberni Valley Bulldogs on Saturday.

Friday night will also be the debut for the newest Chief, Carter Anderson. The 20-year-old tallied 36 goals in 40 games last season for the Flin Flon Bombers of the SJHL.

The Coastal Conference standings are very tight, with first and seventh place separated by just eight points.

The Chiefs return to the Chilliwack Coliseum Dec. 6, hosting the Langley Rivermen at 7 p.m. It's also Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Chilliwack resident and Chiefs season ticket holder Jason Herfst, who is currently fighting cancer, will be dropping the ceremonial puck. Kianna McChesney will perform during the first intermission.

The Chiefs will be wearing special jerseys during warm up that are being auctioned off, and bidding is already open by clicking here: 32auctions.com/organizations/125164/auctions/174179

The Chiefs will host the Coquitlam Express Dec. 7 at 6 p.m., which is also the annual toque and teddy bear toss night.
