A pick-up truck hit a power pole on Prest Road in Chilliwack Wednesday at about 3 p.m., causing traffic delays in the immediate area.
The incident is near McGuire Road and Kw'íyeqel Secondary School. RCMP had the road closed off between Prairie Central and McGuire roads while emergency crews awaited BC Hydro to address the broken power pole. BC Hydro arrived about 3:20 p.m.
Prest Road is likely to closed for some time as crews work on the scene.
