Chilliwack residents will find a treasure trove of useful information and resources at the Aging Well Expo on Oct. 17 at Evergreen Hall.

Organizers have confirmed they have more than 40 exhibitors in attendance, along with seven workshops focused squarely on the concerns of older adults.

The event is free, as is the pancake breakfast, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Lions Hall kicking things off.

There will be chair yoga or a strength and balance class to check out among other activities at the event put together by the Chilliwack Healthier Community's healthy aging working group.

The workshops include:

• Income Support

• Alzheimer’s and Dementia

• Nutrition and Affordable, Healthy Eating

• Fall Prevention and Decluttering

They'll even have a food truck TC Eats on-site later from which attendees can buy lunch.

Aging Well Expo, Oct. 17, Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould St. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
