Chilliwack RCMP are looking for a woman who stopped to help a mother and her child earlier this week, and are now hoping the public can help them identify her.

The female witness, who was driving a silver SUV, pulled over to help the mom and young child in the area of Portage Park (also known as Kinsmen Park on Portage) in Chilliwack on Monday, Nov. 27 around 2:15 p.m.

Police want to find the woman as she might be able to help them with their investigation.

“Investigators are interested in speaking with this female as she could have information to advance the investigation. Investigators are also seeking any dashcam footage from motorists who may have been in the area during this time,” Cpl. Carmen Kiener, media spokesperson for the Chilliwack RCMP stated in a press release.

If you are this female witness or you know her identity, or if you have dashcam footage, contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611, or call CrimeStoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
