It is easy being green.
People took in the Rotary Climate Fair on the weekend where dozens of vendors were on hand offering up information on everything from seed planting, to solar panels, to re-purposing old items in order to make new ones.
The three-pronged event featured an educational trade show, job fair and various speakers.
Run by the Rotary Club of Chilliwack, this year marked the third and final one. After this one wraps up, it'll be time to pass the torch to another community.
“Our community has seen it. We want it to continue and have legs elsewhere,” said organizer and Rotarian Robyn Curtis.
The 2026 climate fair will be held in Semiahmoo and run by the Rotary Club of Nature Celebrators.
Hours for this year's event are: Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chilliwack Landing Sports Centre (45530 Spadina Ave.). For more, including a full list of speakers, go to rotaryclimatefair.ca.
