A day-long workshop ‘Well Being in a Time of Change’ is set for Feb. 10 in the Landing Sports Centre organized by Chilliwack Citizens for Change.

With group workshops and break-out sessions on the schedule, it’s all geared to bolstering resilience and courage, said Eryne Croquet one of the organizers.

The event came together as members of the group started discussing coping strategies and inner adaptations for dealing with challenging times from wars across the globe, to climate change, and inflation-related economic woes.

“All the little stressors add up,” Croquet noted. “So this event is a chance to talk about eco-anxiety and learn from each other, given all the resources we already have in this community. It will be a safe space to weather the storm.”

The group sessions are ‘Breaking Open, Not Apart’ led by facilitator Erin Coulter, or non-cultural drumming with Alyson King. Breakout sessions include a nature walk, facilitated discussion, laughter yoga and more.

Tickets $50, plus fees, with some reduced priced seats available. Details and schedule on the event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/655420089889151
