The City of Chilliwack is holding a drop-in session Saturday (Nov. 9) at Cottonwood Centre for anyone with ideas on how Chilliwack neighbourhoods should grow.

City officials are in the process of reviewing and updating its Official Community Plan (OCP), as part of the provincial housing directives for building more housing faster.

"This plan, called Chilliwack 2050, will be a guide for how the city will grow and develop over the next 25 years.

"Through planning research and community engagement, the updated plan will reflect a renewed vision for Chilliwack’s future," according to the city OCP update.

Phase 1 surveys close on Nov. 24 but residents can visit the mall booth on Nov. 9.
