The owner of Lolly's Fashion Lounge in downtown Chilliwack is thanking her longstanding clientele for more than two decades of loyal patronage.
"We have some news to share," Lolly's owner Lois Chadburn wrote in an emailed store notice on Jan. 8.
"It is with mixed emotions we announce that Lolly’s Fashion Lounge is closing its doors after 24 wonderful years."
Reflecting on the legacy created by the downtown retail institution featuring designer clothing is netting pure gratitude.
"It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re deeply grateful for the support and connection we’ve shared with our amazing customers."
The owner reflected on what was created within the store's four walls.
"Lolly’s has always been more than just a boutique — it’s been a community.
"You, our cherished customers, have been at the heart of it all.
"The connections we’ve built, the laughter we’ve shared, and the joy of dressing you for life’s milestones have made this experience truly meaningful."
The store on Wellington Avenue will be liquidating its remaining inventory, with deals and final finds as they close out this incredible chapter of downtown retail.
"Thank you for being such an integral part of our story and for making Lolly’s such a special place."
