The Downtown Chilliwack Community Market is moving.

The market stalls, vendors and entertainers are saying goodbye to the parking lot off Mill Street, and hello to the Central Community Park come the May long weekend.

Officials announced a new day for the market switching from Sundays to Saturdays for the 2025 season, and the new park location.

Returning will be the "amazing atmosphere and incredible vendors," according to the announcement.

They are specifically looking for some protein producers.

"We currently have amazing produce vendors and are working to expand our offerings to include meat, eggs, and dairy to better meet the needs of our community," the post said.

"Farmers are the backbone of our market, and we're always looking to welcome more to our roster."

Organizers are taking applications for vendors and food trucks at: www.chilliwackmarket.com

The market returns to Chilliwack on May 24 and will run Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October.
