Chilliwack parents and caregivers have a few days left to provide feedback on the school district's strategic plan.

An online survey has been open since Feb. 3 and closes on Feb. 21.

The Chilliwack School District has been working on a major project to update its strategic plan and is involving and communicating with partners and school communities.

"We're listening to students, parents, guardians, caregivers, staff, First Nations, Rights Holders, Inuit, Métis, community, and partner organizations," the district's Strategic Plan Refresh states.

The resulting strategic plan will be for 2026 - 2029. Take the survey: https://tejoin.com/scroll/572957092

For specific accessibility needs, email communications@sd33.bc.ca or call the district office at 604-792-1321. Paper copies are also available at the district office.

The district has already engaged with various other stakeholders and will continue the process throughout the rest of the school year. The consultation still to come is:

  • Staff engagement (CTA and CUPE) led by Principals and Managers – ongoing to March 2025
  • Indigenous Community Forum for Elders, parents, Education Coordinators and Mémiyelhtel students – March 13, 2025
  • Community partners and agencies – March to April 2025 (date TBC)
