Garlic bulbs, garlic sauces and garlic spreads were just some of what was available at the newly named Stinking Rose Garlic Festival in Chilliwack on the weekend.
The festival, formerly called the Chilliwack Garlic and Harvest Festival, is at Fantasy Farms on Sept. 21 and 22.
The all-ages, family-friendly event features food trucks, farm animals, games, train rides, a corn maze, chainsaw carvings, and lots of vendors selling their garlicky wares.
The festival continues Saturday night with the Stinking Rose Music Festival, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (includes a garlic pancake breakfast) at 9423 Gibson Rd. in Chilliwack.
Part proceeds from the festival will go to Chilliwack Community Services.
