People can find one-of-a-kind gifts at an upcoming art sale in Chilliwack in December.
The Art from the Heart Student Art Sale is at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre from Dec. 6 to 8. The sale features handmade art pieces from the centre’s own art class students and instructors.
Each item – from pottery to paintings to jewelry and more – is handcrafted and shows the wide variety of the many classes happening at the centre, while also supporting aspiring local artists.
"Having a showcase for artists to sell their work is an integral piece of offering art classes at the centre. Sharing with the community what they have accomplished as artists adds a level of confidence and pride that translates into a desire to keep making art," the Chilliwack Arts and Cultural Centre Society stated in a press release.
The showcase is also a chance to see what kind of classes are offered at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.
The Art from the Heart Student Art Sale is coming to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on Dec. 6 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 8 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
