Chilliwack musicians as young as 7 to perform at Rising Piano Stars

17 pianists will perform at concert presented by The Valley Symphony at Chilliwack Cultural Centre

Folks will have the chance to hear talented, young pianists during a concert at the end of the month in Chilliwack.

The Valley Symphony presents Rising Piano Stars on Friday, May 30 at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. 

The night features a long lineup of gifted pianists from Chilliwack and beyond, ranging in age from seven to 16, who will be playing enchanting melodies to powerful crescendos. 

They are: Kathleen Yilan Kong de Vries, Evan Weatherhead, Shay Zhang, Grace Yu, Yishan (Natalia) Xia, Anna Wang, Daniel Wang, Aaron Miao, Ella Miao, Yi Teng (Ethan) Xia, Amber Au, Galip Chen, August Xu, Yolanda Chen, Kayla Leung, Carver St John, and James Zhu.

The event also includes a performance from special guest, Ukrainian pianist Oleksandr Luchkov, and vocal ensemble Pacific Voices.
