A lineup of fall concerts at a small music venue in Chilliwack will kick off with a new artist gracing the stage.

East Coast blues musician Morgan Davis will be making his debut at Bozzini’s Upstairs Lounge on Oct. 4.

For nearly 60 years, Davis has been playing the blues while travelling across Canada, the U.S. and Europe. His performances draw from a lifelong study of the rich tradition of country blues, re-interpreting songs of the 1920s and '30s on electric instruments. His original compositions are infused with wit and a good dose of humour.

Morgan Davis performs on Oct. 4 at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $27.50.

On Oct. 11, alternative folk duo Flagship Romance will take the stage. Married singers-songwriters Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson are known for their breathtaking vocal harmonies, inspired songwriting, dynamic live show, and a remarkable on and off-stage chemistry.

Flagship Romance performs on Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $27.50.

Then there will be two nights of rockin' blues on Oct. 28 and 29 with the JW Jones Trio. Jones, a Canadian singer-guitarist, is a Billboard Top 10 Blues Artist, 2020 International Blues Challenge winner, and Juno nominee. He is known for his high-energy shows.

The JW Jones Trio performs on Oct. 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $36.75.

On Nov. 28, Doug Cox and Linda Mcrae will debut their duo show in Chilliwack.

Cox was initially drawn to the blues, particularly the bottleneck slide guitar. He soon discovered the Dobro guitar, and before long earned a national and international reputation as he skillfully fused a wide range of acoustic roots and Americana musical styles.

Mcrae is a Canadian-Nashville based multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter who has 37 years experience touring and teaching both nationally and internationally. She is a former member of iconic Canadian Celtic band Spirit of the West. Mcrae plays banjo, guitar and accordion in an unflaggingly authentic, deeply satisfying, and refreshingly acoustic style with a big dose of soul and skilled musicality.

Doug Cox and Linda Mcrae perform on Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $27.50.
