I’d like to respond to the article in the March 7 Progress in which Laurie Throness is quoted at length regarding his opposition to medical assistance in dying in a hospice setting. He is certainly entitled to his opinion, as am I to mine. So let’s make a deal, Mr. Throness.

I promise I will keep my nose out of the decisions you make regarding your death and in return, you keep your views far away from me when the time is right for me to make these very personal decisions.

It’s called minding your own business and I, for one, would greatly appreciate not having to listen to your propaganda.
