A vehicle was clocked going 79 km/h in a 30 km/h school zone on Tuesday (Feb. 18) in Abbotsford.
According to a social media post from the Abbotsford Police Department, a member of the traffic enforcement unit caught the excessive speeder.
“This reckless behaviour not only endangers the lives of children but also poses a significant risk to all road users,” the department said in the post.
APD says 52 vehicles have been removed from Abbotsford roads due to excessive speeding this year.
