Although it’s still a few days away from the official start of the season, all the classic signs of spring are underway: the birds are chirping love songs, the sun’s warming up, flowers and trees are beginning to blossom, and the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra & Chorus is again searching for pianists for its 2018 Piano Extravaganza.

Open to all players of all ages from across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, there will be four venues set up across the region—Langley, Burnaby, Abbotsford, and Sardis—for the auditions.

Held on April 6, 7, 11, and 14, respectively, the winner of the auditions will play with the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra & Chorus during it’s Piano Extravaganza on Oct. 13 and 14, and will be able to participate in a masterclass with renown pianists Betty Suderman and Ewa Telega.
