Some of B.C.’s funniest ladies are checking out Chilliwack this weekend as the Fraser Valley Comedy Club brings back its Jest Ladies comedy show at the Wellington Social House.

This weekend’s show is hosted by funny woman Nic Enright-Morin, who’s not only a renowned stand-up comedian and founding member of the Vancouver comedy production house and Amusings Comedy, but regularly cracks up audiences during her tours across the province and within the UK.

Headlining Jest Ladies is Jane Stanton, who’s previously won Vancouver’s funniest female comic, and has been featured on CBC Radio 1, XFM, the Can West Comedy Festival, and last year, she was one of SiriusXM’s top comic semifinalists. She’s also been in the ABC mini-series When We Rise, A&E’s The Returned, CBC’s Arctic Air, and was also in two popular web series, The Staff Room and The Acting Class.

According to her bio on Funny Business Inc., “Watching Jane Stanton on stage is like having a late night conversation with you best friend, if your best friend is one of the funniest people you know.”

But Stanton won’t be alone on stage. Joining her will be fellow female comedians, Cari Moore, Katrina Bennett, Helena Paul, Lisa Person and Jan Bannister, who are all well-known comedians in their own right.
