UFV performers and other artists are planning a wonderful evening of music, dance and theatre to raise funds for Japanese earthquake victims.

The variety show is set for April 2 in the UFV Theatre at 8 p.m.

The program features local vocal octet Pieces of Eight, soloists, theatrical sketches and more. A local group of Japanese exchange students, in Chilliwack since March 6, will be assisting event organizers.

A full 100 per cent of the proceeds from the show will be donated to disaster relief efforts through the Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami fund. Variety Show admission is by donation (suggested minimum $10) at the door. Contact nicoladavies@live.ca for more information.
