New show at Museum’s Chambers Gallery draws inspiration from nature

Artists Helen Janas and Bev Beresh will be at the Chilliwack Museum’s Chambers Gallery for an opening of a new exhibit on Saturday, June 9

Abbotsford artists Helen Janas and Bev Beresh will be at the Chilliwack Museum’s Chambers Gallery for an opening of a new exhibit on Saturday, June 9. The opening reception runs from noon until 2:00 pm.

Beresh, a fine arts graduate from the University College of the Fraser Valley (now called the University of the Fraser Valley) and Helen Janas who emigrated from Poland in 1974 find inspiration in the bounty and beauty of nature. Natural Reflections , the title of their exhibit, is drawn from the interplay of light and colour that surrounds us on a daily basis.

The museum is located at 45820 Spadina Avenue in Chilliwack’s only national historic site, the former city hall for the City of Chilliwack. For more information enquiries can be directed to the museum at 604-795-5210.
