The Last Foxtrot presented by Tractorgrease is set for May 18 at the Chilliwack Arts Centre on Henderson Avenue.

It will actually be the final rock show ever performed in the venerable old Arts Centre, which has just been sold recently.

"I thought it would be cool to put on a sit-down theatre-style show in the big room," said organizer Jeff Bonner of Tractorgrease Studios.

Bonner said he called it The Last Foxtrot, as a play on words reminiscent of the The Last Waltz, and Yankee Foxtrot Hotel, which is a Wilco record.

"There will be lights, lasers, smoke, rock and folk music, so come on out and celebrate the life of this building and what it has offered the arts community for many years."

The bands on the lineup are Harma White, Fanaticus, The Tractorgrease Folk, Kyle Schick, and The Hairless Bares.

Last Foxtrot, May 18 at the old Arts Centre, Show at 7:30, Doors at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets $10 available at The Cultural Centre, 9201 Corbould St. 604-392-8888,

or at the door.
