Uncle Brad performs with Mice in the Honey Bucket on Thursday

Bands Uncle Brad and Mice in the Honey Bucket will be performing at Tractorgrease Cafe Sept. 8.

Uncle Brad is a four-piece band backing the stylings of Falkland backwoods gardener Brad Ulmer. The band plays politically-charged songs that are mostly sad, often funny, and usually short.

They will be sharing some hilarious, dark, insightful, upbeat, catchy songs written about life, social politics, and your ex-wife cheating.

Joining Uncle Brad that night will be Mice in the Honey Bucket, a double-lady rag duo playing harmonies, old instruments, banjo, guitar, and kazoo.

Uncle Brad and Mice in the Honey Bucket perform Thursday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at Tractorgrease Cafe (48710 Chilliwack Lake Rd.). Tickets $10, and available at 604-858-3814 or tractorgrease@gmail.com.
