Eyes of a Beginner premiere at Cottonwood

Film features Chilliwack’s Mike Bemister, in the role of Director of Photography, and editor Adam Besse.

Chilliwack Community Arts Council is excited to present the Chilliwack premiere of Eyes of a Beginner on Jan. 16 at the Cottonwood 4 Cinemas.

Written and directed by, and starring, local film maker Rob Beare, Eyes of a Beginner is a memorizing docudrama that takes viewers on a breathtaking adventure. The story follows a once blind man on his quest to honour his first sight, which sets him on an epic journey to the far reaches of the world.

Eyes of a Beginner has been awarded Winner of Best Canadian Feature at the Okanagan Film Fest International (2012), Winner of Best Feature Film at Spirit Quest Film Festival (2012), as well as received Honorable Mention at the International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration, and Equality (2012).

The film also features the talents of Chilliwack’s Mike Bemister, in the role of Director of Photography, and editor Adam Besse.
