Chilliwack well represented in upcoming provincial music-and-dance festival

Three dancers and 10 musicians/vocalists from Chilliwack head to provincials in June

Several talented youth in Chilliwack won trophies in the 74th annual Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival this year, and many of them are now on their way to the provincials.

The virtual Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival was held from Feb. 13 to March 9 and in order to participate, the competitors submitted videos of their performances for judging.

Additionally, a total of three dancers and 10 musicians/vocals will be representing Chilliwack in the upcoming 2021 Provincial Festival of Performing Arts BC. It will also be a virtual event which runs June 1 to 5.
