Chilliwack artist finds inspiration across B.C.

The award-winning artist Marie McGill has painted on location all over the world

British Columbia Inspirations is the name of the current exhibition by artist Marie McGill in the Chambers Gallery of the Chilliwack Museum from March 8 to April 17.

The award-winning artist has painted on location all over the world and has won awards for her work, which has been exhibited across B.C. and Washington, as well Canada, since the 1960s, and more recently in China and Japan.

Artwork in the show was painted both on location and in her studio. The work is in many different styles, various mediums and subjects, including abstracts and collages.
