The work of Ross Bollerup is the focus of a new show in Chilliwack. Artist's meet and greet reception is Saturday

Beautiful garden realms in Bollerup art show

Artist's meet and greet reception is Saturday, March 15, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Chilliwack Gallery

Unexpected Garden is the name of local artist Ross Bollerup’s new show at the Chilliwack Gallery opening Thursday.

His paintings and constructions reveal a unique vision of the upper Fraser Valley and the realm of the beautifully cultivated garden. In this exhibition, representations of bird, mammal, gardener and butterfly “interrelate in fields of natural elements,” according to the artist.

Bollerup is a well known Chilliwack artist, and this show should be a must-see for those who appreciate the subtleties of fine arts.

Artist’s meet and greet reception is Saturday, March 15, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Chilliwack Gallery in the Cultural Centre.

The Bollerup show runs March 13 to April 26.
