Alice Cooper is returning to Abbotsford.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer announced on Monday (Dec. 6) that he will be making a stop at the Abbotsford Centre on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The Abbotsford show will also feature special guest Buckcherry.
The tour will feature a number of songs from his 2021 album Detroit Stories, which was released in February. According to the press release announcing the tour, Detroit Stories is a celebration of the sound and spirit of the Golden Era of Detroit rock.
Cooper was scheduled to perform in Abbotsford on April 18, 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused those plans to be cancelled.
Cooper has had a legendary career that has spanned more than 50 years, and he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. He’s released 23 solo albums and seven as part of a band. He also earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003.
He last performed in Abbotsford in 2013. Other Canadian stops on the tour include: Windsor (Jan. 27), Toronto (March 26), Peterborough (March 27), Winnipeg (April 9), Moose Jaw (April 10), Edmonton (April 12), Calgary (April 14) and Penticton (April 15).
