Dozens of children and adults gathered to welcome Santa Claus as he arrived at Cottonwood Mall Saturday afternoon.

St. Nick waved and rang jingle bells as he arrived in style in a vintage 1940 Ford fire truck owned by the Rosedale Volunteer Fire Hall.

The group joined Santa as he made his way through the mall and over to his village set up in the west end of Cottonwood Mall.

People can visit Santa and get their picture taken with him from now until Dec. 24. Hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
