VIDEO: Vancouver Soaring Association climbs higher with new hangar

Plans to build a storage structure are almost as old as the club

Finished last fall and officially opened this spring, the Vancouver Soaring Association’s new hangar was a long time coming for the organization based in Hope.

Thousands of volunteer hours and private financing built the structure which will allow planes and gliders to remain on the facility year-round, have better protection from the elements and be more easily accessible.
