VIDEO: Ride to Conquer Cancer finishes in Chilliwack

2,500 soggy but undeterred cyclists departed en masse from Heritage Park

Cyclists in the British Columbia Ride to Conquer Cancer finished their 200 km bike ride at Chilliwack Heritage Park on Sunday after a rainy day two in the fundraising event.

Around 2,500 participants raised more than $10 million to benefit the BC Cancer Foundation in the 10th year of the ride.

Originally slated to end in Hope, the ride was detoured around a Chilliwack course that started and finished at Chilliwack Heritage Park due to air quality from wildfires.
