Moms do a lot for us. They feed us, support us, and keep us out of trouble.
So here’s your chance to support the moms in our community.
The 15th Annual Envision Run for Mom is on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12. It’s your chance to help the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation purchase necessary medical equipment for the maternity department at Chilliwack General Hospital.
Participants can take part in an eight-kilometer timed road race, a five-kilometer walk/run, or for the young ones, a one-kilometer kids’ run.
All the money raised goes to CGH.
Collect a lot of pledges and teams will receive a commemorative plaque. If a team, raises the highest value in pledges there will be a Top Fundraising Team Trophy to be won. And if a team desires a bit of competitive fun, they may challenge other businesses and clubs to see who’s pledge total is the best. Individuals who raise over $100, $250, and $500 could win some neat and exciting prizes. A total of $750 and over, participants have a chance to win two tickets from WestJet.
All the participants who register will be entered in a draw to win one of the many get prizes to be won.
